Description
The Designated Person Ashore (DPA) course meets the requirements of IMO MSC-MEPC.7/Circ.6, ensuring participants receive the necessary qualification, training, and experience to undertake the role of Designated Person Ashore (DPA) under the ISM Code.
The DPA plays a crucial role in implementing and maintaining a company’s Safety Management System (SMS), overseeing safety and pollution prevention measures. To comply with the ISM Code, shipping companies must provide evidence of sufficient DPA training.
Participants will gain a thorough understanding of the ISM Code, risk management, incident investigation, and legal responsibilities.
