Our Approved Navigation Skills Refresher Training Course is a voluntary Continuing Professional Development (CPD) program designed for deck officers who want to refresh and enhance their core navigational skills. Whether you’re returning to sea after time ashore, preparing for promotion, or simply looking to maintain a high standard of professional competence, this 1-day course provides a focused and practical review of key navigation principles in line with modern bridge operations.
Topics covered include chartwork and position fixing, radar and ARPA interpretation, effective use of ECDIS, application of COLREGs, and passage planning.
