The IMO Model Course 1.22 Bridge Resource Management & Ship Simulator Training Course is designed for maritime bridge personnel, aligned with the framework of the International Maritime Organization (IMO). The course complies with the latest requirements of the STCW Convention (1978, as amended by the 2010 Manila Amendments) and incorporates updates per SIRE 2.0 standards.
The IMO Model Course 3.11 Safety Investigation into Marine Casualties and Marine Incidents is designed to allow you to relate your knowledge and experience to safely and competently investigate accidents, near misses, marine casualties and marine incidents, in line with industry practice and the Casualty Investigation Code.
The IMO Model Course 6.09 Training for Instructors is designed to allow you to relate your knowledge and experience to facilitate, deliver and assess competence standards and courses required by the STCW Convention.
The ISM / ISO Lead Auditor course looks at the skills, traits and understanding necessary to audit against ISM or any of the 66 Type “A” ISO Management systems. It also looks at how standards are built and designed, how to gather evidence of compliance, and the process of conducting audits, surveys and inspections.
The ISM Navigation Auditor course looks at the skills, traits and understanding necessary to audit Navigation against ISM and OCIMF’s MSA.It also looks at best practice of modern navigation, how to gather evidence of compliance, and the process of conducting audits, surveys and inspections.
The Superintendent’s Training Package includes a number of sub-courses, and the scheduling for these will be tailored to your needs, within 18 months of starting training. This includes incident investigation, DPA, CSO, Train the Instructor, Dry BMS, Management Self-Assessment, Navigation Auditing, ISM / ISO Lead Auditor and Tanker Vettings.
