The STCW Human Element Leadership & Management – Management Level (HELM M) course is a mandatory program for masters and officers in management roles onboard vessels based on IMO model course 1.40. ISM Designated Person Ashore (DPA) Training Course (Approved)
The Designated Person Ashore (DPA) course meets IMO MSC-MEPC.7/Circ.6 requirements, ensuring participants are fully qualified to undertake the role of Designated Person Ashore (DPA) under the ISM Code. It covers safety management, risk assessment, legal responsibilities, and the human factor, equipping participants with the skills to implement and maintain a company’s Safety Management System (SMS).

ISM Lead Auditor (Approved)
The approved ISM Lead Auditor course looks at the skills, traits and understanding necessary to audit against ISM. It also looks at how standards are built and designed, how to gather evidence of compliance, and the process of conducting audits, surveys and inspections.

ISM Navigation Auditor/Assessor (Approved)
The ISM Navigation Auditor course looks at the skills, traits and understanding necessary to audit Navigation against ISM and OCIMF’s MSA.It also looks at best practice of modern navigation, how to gather evidence of compliance, and the process of conducting audits, surveys and inspections. We cross certify to the IMO 1.30 Onboard Assessment traininng and the Level 3 Understanding the Principles and Practice of Assessment

ISM Superintendents Training Package
The Superintendent’s Training Package includes a number of sub-courses, and the scheduling for these will be tailored to your needs, within 18 months of starting training. This includes incident investigation, DPA, CSO, Train the Instructor, Dry BMS, Management Self-Assessment, Navigation Auditing, ISM / ISO Lead Auditor and Tanker Vettings.
