Delivered in accordance with MSN 1853 and supporting Workboat Code 3 requirements, the course provides essential fire prevention and firefighting training for those operating in the commercial maritime sector.
With extensive industry experience and a strong reputation for practical maritime training, You&Sea deliver engaging, hands-on instruction that prepares delegates to respond confidently to onboard fire emergencies. Training covers fire classifications, common onboard fire hazards, extinguishing methods, and the safe use of firefighting equipment including water, foam, dry powder and CO2 extinguishers. Delegates will also learn the FIRE emergency procedure — Find, Inform, Restrict and Extinguish — alongside best-practice fire prevention and onboard safety awareness.

- Types and sources of ignition likely to be encountered on vessels

- Knowledge of types and location of fire-fighting equipment on a vessel.
